Ignacio Ugartechea Boxlock Side by Side, a classic Spanish field gun known for lively handling and the durability of a true boxlock action. Its clean lines and well-laid rib support quick target acquisition and natural pointability for versatile field performance.

Overall condition is okay: pitting is present on the top of the right-hand barrel, with otherwise few handling marks. The wood shows heavy scratches with varnish wear along the underside of the stock, and only a small amount of case color remains on the action. The break action opens smoothly and the ejectors are strong. Built in Spain in 1968, this 12 Ga example wears 27 3/4" barrels with 2 1/2" chambers, fixed chokes (L: Mod; R: Extra Mod), a solid tapered rib measuring 8 1/2 mm to 4 mm, and a smoothbore barrel set. It measures an overall length of 44 1/2" and is stocked Straight English with Neutral cast, LOP 14 1/4", LOP to wood 14", DAC 1 5/8", and DAH 2 5/8".
