Spanish Essex Boxlock Side by Side in 12 Ga, a classic field gun built on a durable boxlock action with smoothbore barrels and a solid rib.

It offers lively balance and dependable function with double triggers, extractors, and an automatic safety, paired with a wood Straight English stock for instinctive mounting.

Overall nice condition. Minor handling marks on stock and varnish wear on fore-end. Small amount of surface marks on barrels. Receiver hardening colour still evident, with a hound motif on either side of the receiver.

Dating to 1967 in Spain, this side-by-side wears 27 1/2" barrels with 2 3/4" chambers and a two-choke setup (Left: Full; Right: IM). The solid rib tapers from 8 1/2 mm to 5 1/2 mm. Neutral cast wood stock with Straight English grip shows a Length of Pull of 14" (13 3/4" to wood), with DAC 1 1/2" and DAH 2 3/4". Overall length is 44 1/10". No barrel selector.
