Lincoln Jeffries Lightweight Ejector side-by-side in 12 Ga, a classic Birmingham-made field gun noted for lively handling and refined balance.

Built for dependable performance with double triggers, automatic safety, strong ejectors, and a solid tapered rib, it is an elegant choice for upland and driven game. Lincoln Jeffries was a prominent Birmingham gunmaker with workshops on Whittall Street and Steelhouse Lane in the heart of the Gun Quarter.

This 1904 United Kingdom-made example is in overall very good condition. Wood shows a few handling marks consistent with age; checkering remains sharp, and the lever-release fore-end functions properly.

It retains its original light?brown Damascus barrels with a brass bead sight; the left tube shows occasional light surface corrosion with a very small area of beginning pitting near the muzzle. The break action is very smooth and the ejectors fire strongly. The rib is engraved “Lincoln Jeffries / The Lightweight/ 12 Bore,” with barrel legends “Winner of the Gold Medal London 1870 & Awarded first prize Melbourne 1889” on the right and “Winner of The Field 20 Guinea Prize for choke bores London 1879” on the left; both action and barrels share the same serial number, indicating the tubes are original to the action. Specifications include 27" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, fixed chokes (L: Full / R: SK), a solid rib tapered 9 1/2 mm - 5 1/2 mm, and a wooden Prince of Wales stock with neutral cast; LOP 14 1/2", LOP to wood 14 1/4", DAC 1 1/2", DAH 2 5/8", and overall length 43 1/4".
