12 GAUGE, 28" BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER AND MODIFIED, 2-3/4", EJECTORS, SINGLE INERTIA TRIGGER, AUTOMATIC SAFETY, HALF PISTOL HAND GRIP, GAME FOREND, CHECKERED BUTT, 7 LBS 13 OZ, 14-3/4" LOP

A "London Best" 12 gauge sporting over & under shotgun with hand detachable locks fit with 28 inch smooth blacked steel demi-bloc barrels that are nicely fit with ejectors, choked Improved Cylinder and Modified and have a solid tapered file cut top rib that is engraved "HOLLAND & HOLLAND, LONDON." near the breach. Underside of the bottom barrel is engraved with the number "2" in gold. The brush bright (coin) finished action body and locks are adorned with Holland & Holland's classic Ribbon Scroll engraving on shaded ground with "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" engraved on both sides of the action body while the bottom is engraved "The Royal Model" in script. The sidelock action is fit with a single inertia trigger that is protected by an engraved trigger guard with a rolled right edge, gold line cocking indicators and an automatic safetey with "SAFE" in gold ahead of the engraved and checkered slide safety. The engraved top lever is engraved with the number "2" in gold while the left side of the thumbpiece is checkered. The gun is fit with best quality Turkish walnut stock with drop points, half pistol hand grip and game forend with Anson style release and engraved with the number "2" in gold at tip. Cast Off 1/8" at face with a 14-3/4" LOP to a checkered butt, 7 Lbs.13 Oz. The gun is presented in the makers ABS travel case.
