Lefever SxS Double 12 Gauge

Description:
An  Early Production Lefever Arms Co. Damascus 12 Gauge S xS Shotgun. Serial Number 14541 is representative of an 1891 manufacture.
This piece has 28 inch Damascus Barrels which are in great condition. The bores are bright and crisp.
The gun weighs approximately 8 pounds and the balance and swing are excellent.
The engraving on the metal is very nice with a Dog on Point on the right side of the receiver and a Dog with a Bird in the mouth on the left side.
The checkering is quite good. It has the customary double triggers, top thumb safety and barrel release lever all of which are functional.
 Overall length is 44 inches. There are a few dings in the wood, however the piece is considered to be in superb condition for a 100 plus year old gun.
This would be a great addition to a collection.
