L.C. Smith Ejector 12ga Ideal Grade LEFT Handed Shotgun

Description:
A handsome 7-3/4 pound ejector 12ga, 30" barrels, open choke on the left, and triggers turned for a left-handed shooter. 14-3/8" pull over a fresh Pachmayr pad, Drops 1-3/4 and 2-3/8" with no noticeble cast. Three position non-automatic safety: in its rear position the front trigger fires the left barrel. This gun should be comfortable for right handed shooters as well. Barrels close tight on face, and properly-timed ejectors function with vigor. Bores are clean and shiny, measure 0.730 and choked 0.010 and 0.040 (MOD/FULL)  "London Steel" barrels ring nicely, are numbered to the action and fore end, and the bluing is excellent. Has 2-1/2" chambers with long forcing cones; robust, thick breeches, could ream and clean-up nicely to 2-3/4" chambers if desired. Barrels marked "LC Smith Ideal Grade" right, and Hunter Arms on the left barrel. Minimum wall thickness measured 0.027"
Wood is solid, has some gorgeous figure, crisp checkering, and hand-rubbed oil finish. Serial# RE303xx made around 1920. Email or call for more info. CA OK, C&R OK.
