Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer a Winchester 9422 XTR, the deluxe upgrade to the standard 9422, produced in more limited numbers, while having improved checkering and higher quality wood. Winchester’s Model 9422 was introduced in 1972 and continued production until 2005 producing approximately 850,000 units in total. The goal was to harken back to the lever guns of old, with a few upgrades, like being grooved for scope mounting. This 9422 XTR has a 10/10 mirror perfect bore, 20” barrel with 99% bluing, chambered to fire .22 short, long, and long rifle, so you can shoot any combination you desire! The receiver and lever are in excellent condition both having 99% factory bluing. The action is buttery smooth, allowing you to go as fast! The sights have been upgraded with a Williams peep sight mounted just forward of the hammer, making this rifle great for landing those precision shots right on target. Both the Factory rear sight aperture and front sight hood have been removed and the hole plugged. The furniture is in excellent condition with perfect checkering.
