Description:
A Thompson Center Hawken developed by Cleland Match Rifle, There were not many made and supposedly were developed by TC Team Shooter Chad Cleland. They are built on a Hawken 1" barrel stock and have a 1" ATF .40 caliber, 32" long barrel. The rear sight is an adustable TC Hawken style and the front is a standard TC blade. Several made have been made upon order or for employees. With an early serial #008013, at  40 cal.,with a  32” Octagon barrel with overall bright very good bore showing light oxidation and strong crisp rifling throughout. The metal surfaces retain 97% original blue with scattered oxidation staining along the length of the barrel with some very fine pitting near the muzzle. The brass furniture has a rich semi-dark ochre patina and vibrant case-colors remain on the hammer and lock. The smooth straight-grip stock rates about excellent with a few minor handling marks. This rifle is barreled with a Green Mountain barrel that has blade front sight and adjustable sporting rear with set triggers and included is a metal tipped composite ramrod. A;; working well and a cutom /rare Thonpson Center rifle. Barrel marked .40 cal , for powder only.
