Springfield M-1922, M2 Upgrades, .22 Cal. c.1925, Beautiful condition

Description:
               This Springfield Armory Model of 1922 has been upgraded to M2 specifications with the addition of an adjustable headspace bolt numbered to match the rifle. This is a common upgrade for Pre-M2 rifles. Note that the receiver is marked “MODEL OF 1922, M I I”, Serial number “2229 B”. This is an interesting variation for the collector. It was made as an MI but after the modification a second “I” was added to the markings making it “MI I”. The “B” was added to the serial number. This may be a bit of too much  “Inside Baseball” but does describe an interesting variation of Springfield .22 Training rifles.
          The original barrel is dated 10-1925 and is in perfect condition. It is equipped with an original Springfield magazine and not the common aftermarket. All metal surfaces on the rifle are in perfect condition except for some minor rub marks on the top of the barrel band, no doubt rack rash.
          The stock shows the original SA cartouche. It has some very minor bruising in a few places but overall remains in excellent condition.

FIREARMS:
          Modern firearms, post 1898, can only be shipped to a Type 01 Federal Firearms License address.  Curio-Relic firearms, as defined by the BATF list, can usually be shipped to a Type 03 Collectors License address.
A signed valid FFL license copy will be required for shipment to the license address.

RETURNS:
Returns must be made within 3 days of receipt. They must be received in exactly the same condition with no parts exchanged.  If it has been altered, damaged, or fired, a refund will not be made.  Packing, shipping and insurance cost will not be refunded

SALES TAX: 
Pennsylvania state sales tax is 6% for in-state purchases. The payment of other states’ sales tax, if applicable, for shipped items is the buyer’s responsibility.
