Outstanding bore condition with sharp lands and grooves
Tremendous amount of blue remaining
Right side of receiver has "R.S. Lawrence Pat. April 12th 1859" and "C. Sharps Pat. Oct. 5th 1852"
Left side of receiver has "C. Sharps Pat Sept 12th 1848"
Barrel has "New Model 1863" and "SHARPS RIFLE / MANUFG CO. / HARTFORD, CONN"
Action is very slick
Nice walnut stock with some handling marks with remnants of cartouche behind sling bar, and a "X" towards butt plate
Lever catch
Iron block front sight, Lawrence rear ladder sight
Steel military buttplate
Barrel band on forearm
Single Trigger
Primer feeder
