1975 ~ Ruger 10/22 Carbine - Bicentennial Liberty Model

I've got a very nice older carbine in excellent shape, considering it's 50 years of age. Serial number is predicated 115 so this puts it in the 1975 range, at least according to Ruger. This is a Bicentennial / Liberty Model, and marked as such. This is a very nice older rifle and well cared for. Beautiful walnut with the earlier metal  buttplate. I didn't buy this new, but I've owned it for 40+ years. I set it up with a period 4X Redfield scope, duplex reticle, in Redfield 'up from the bottom' rings. And before you ask; YES, I know that the Leupold scope base is mounted backwards, and was done so purposely. As a matter of preference, I find that some of scopes provide more eye relief when mounted in this particular scope base. The new owner can change that should it matter to him/her. I've made a couple of small additions to the rifle, namely a nice hand rubbed tung oil finish as well as I set it up with sling swivels. I haven't fired this much over the years as I have others I shoot regularly. This is a very nice older rifle, you don't see these older walnut carbines very often, especially in this condition, and I can't say I've seen another Liberty Model 10/22 for sale for quite some time.
