The Big Boy series is an upscaled version of Henry‚s popular .22-caliber Classic series lever-action rifles and is designed around large bore calibers meant for hunting, target, and personal protection. The Color Case Hardened Side Gate model features a classic case-hardened finish for a vintage appearance and includes a side loading gate to allow for quick reloading without having to disassemble the magazine. The rifles also feature a classic straight hand grip with a checkered grip texture and an octagon-profile barrel to finish out the old west look.

This carbine model is chambered in .44 Magnum and .44 Special and features a 16.5-inch barrel and a large lever loop. The receiver is drilled and tapped for installation of scope mounts.
