Civil War Military Issued Enfield Musket with "C,94" Co.  Markings on the Backside         

Description:
A Scarce & Early U.S. Civil War Military Issued Enfield Musket With "C,94" Company markings On The Backside Of The Wood Opposite The Lock In Very Good Untouched Condition. All original and complete. It has very good, metal, markings & edges throughout. Marked on the lock, "1863/TOWER". It is marked on the barrel with "25/25" markings on it. All of the metal on the musket has a very untouched natural darkening and even natural patina throughout it. The metal has good edges to it. The brass trigger guard, butt plate, and top barrel band are all fine & untouched. The swivel on the trigger guard is missing. All screws are very good throughout. The original wood on the Enfield Musket is fine throughout with very good edges and a fine even color to it.  There is an early "C,94" stamping on the backside of the wood opposite the hammer. This is a Company or Regimental Mark. It has a very good bore and action. This Early & Scarce U.S. Civil War Military 1863 Dated Enfield Musket Has A Great Untouched Look To It And Deserves Further Research Done On It As It Could Have Been Used By The North Or The South!
