Superb Belgian Browning Grade I .22 Auto Rifle
Offered here for sale and just acquired among over 100 guns purchased this month is this fine classic Browning .22 cal. Semi-auto rifle.
The “.22 Auto Rifles (Grades I, II, III)” refers to Browning’s semi-automatic .22 rim-fire rifles produced starting in 1959.  The model has its roots in designs by John M. Browning used by FN Herstal (Belgium) from the early 20th century.
Sleek and streamline in design this specimen carried just a numerical serial number “2109” which appears to predate many of the later releases which carried prefix numbers.
This specimen is considered a Grade I model due to its checkering on pistol grip and forearm,. 18.5” barrel. In superb condition it appears to have been used very little if at all. 100% blued finish, Stock beautiful without mars and dents except the right side of the forearm has a small ding in the wood.. There is only a few tiny nicks in end of buttstock as it meets the buttplate.Certainly 99% plus plus.
