Known primarily for their world-renowned Italian-made shotguns, Benelli enters the bolt-action rifle market with the Lupo. Incorporating ergonomics that have been refined over decades of shotgun design, the Lupo rifle has a modern, avant-garde angular profile stemming from a streamlined receiver and forend which blend together seamlessly, angled trigger placement, lowered and rear-biased bolt handle, and a customizable stock with raised cheekpad and comb and included shims for the wrist and butt. The rifle is built with a chassis-style construction with an aluminum chassis and steel bedding. This Benelli Lupo is chambered in the classic .30-06 Springfield with a tapered 22" threaded barrel. The rifle is a premium trim with a high-polish black finish and Benelli's patened BE.S.T. all-weather protective coating. The receiver has a brushed grey finish and semi-gloss AA-grade walnut with checkered texturing adorns the rifle. The flush-fitting contoured magazine holds up to five cartridges.
