The SOLUS series is built on the Remington 700 Short Action footprint and features a 3-lug bolt head, dual ejectors and a 60-degree bolt throw with a \"cock on lift‚ bolt design. The Lightweight (LW) series features a reduced profile for lighter weight along with a sleeker fluted bolt body and redesigned internal geometry for smoother cycling. A two-piece, minimalist-style 1913 Picatinny base on the receiver gives better clearance to the action while allowing for quick and easy scope mounting.

This model is chambered in .308 Winchester and features a 20-inch, threaded carbon fiber barrel developed by Proof Research along with a custom Black Canyon camouflage color pattern. The receiver comes installed on Grayboe‚s new Phoenix 2 chassis that is lighter, stronger, and comes with updated ergonomics, contours and dimensions aimed at improving shooter comfort and accuracy. The stock comes with a one-hand adjustable cheek riser and length of pull, allowing users to fine-tune the rifle to their needs. One 5-round Magpul AICS magazine is included.
