This is a Smith & Wesson .500 caliber revolver with an 8.375-inch barrel in excellent condition. The gun is all original and it does not have any scratches or handling marks. The gun shows very little use and it has been well cared for in a safe when not in use. The barrel is ported and in excellent condition inside and out. The gun has the target hammer and target trigger in excellent condition. The trigger is light and very smooth. The hammer is also very tight and smooth. These guns have the best action of any big caliber revolvers. This gun was never carried in a holster and used mostly at a shooting range. The grips are original and in excellent condition.
