Description:
Standard configuration S&W Model 27-2 .357 Magnum revolver manufactured between 1969-1972, SN: S298405, with 3.5" barrel having ramp front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Full serial number S298405 on inner frame and butt; 298405 inner surface right grip. Crane marked with assembly number 83860, the same number repeated on left frame under grips. Left side of barrel marked "SMITH & WESSON" while right side of barrel is stamped "S. & W. 357 MAGNUM", the sideplate marked with the usual S&W logo. Right side of frame stamped "MADE IN U.S.A.", "MARCAS REGISTRADAS", "SMITH & WESSON", and "SPRINGFIELD, MASS." markings. Checkered wooden grips featuring S&W medallions. Complete with original, matching factory box, details on end label, containing RIP, instruction manual for ".357 MAGNUM REVOLVER MODEL No. 27", holster brochure, knife catalog, warrantee, Smith & Wesson ammunition card, and plastic sleeve with cleaning implements.
