Colt SAA .45 cal.

Description:
Colt SAA with 71/2 inch barrel made in 1887.
This is in .45 caliber ( long Colt), civilian model
which were popular especially in the Wild West. The factory markings are clear and crisp.
Bore is very good as are the cylinder chambers. 
Action functions properly when cycled normally. If spun in half cock the cylinder sometimes locks up and then has to be removed to reset.Colt grips show some wear, possible period repair. Frame has some black powder residue and pitting. The gun patina is silver gray with some plum.
Overall a good condition solid Colt .45 which looks like it has been used as intended. The four clicks are present. Traces of case colors on the hammer. Original blue finish present on the barrel under the cartridge ejection mechanism. Small amount of cylinder play front to back, but not side to side. Price: $3150,  plus $45 shipped insured.
