COLT .45 PEACEMAKER REVOLVER

Colt .44 caliber single action Peacemaker revolver. Serial #117235 matching, correct un-numbered cylinder, manufactured in 1886. Colt Peacemaker revolver in very good condition overall. Metal overall is a smooth, aged gun metal dark-grey patina overall. 3-line patent dates on left side of frame very clear. Top of barrel 2-line barrel address "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.", all there, crisp. 4 3/4" barrel. The bore is very good. The mechanics are perfect, original hammer. The grips are original, fine and correct rampart Colt and eagle grips, expected age handling wear. A classic cowboy six-shooter handgun of the Old West, .100% original and complete.  $3,950.00 O.B.O.
*This listing has been updated and edited as the barrel is stamped underneath, near the back "44", sorry I didn't spot this upon first examination.  If you look at picture #10 (it's hard to make out), but you can see a blurred "44" right in front of the cylinder pin head on the bottom of the barrel.
