Verchromt is a RARE special order. This Finish also referred to as Commercial Chromium in 1937 Stoeger Catalog.
All metal components are factory finished in Verchromt, a rare plating method that was used on limited numbers of Walther Pistols manufactured in the late 30's & early 40's. Unlike a normal polished chrome or blue the Verchromt features an attractive low dull luster, almost reminiscent of a phosphate, and provides corrosion protection.
Finishes in Verchomt are seldom found, and even more rare is the PP Model.  Records indicate that one PP for every ten PPK.
