Shadow Systems, based in Plano, TX, offers consumers a polymer-frame semi-automatic pistol that is essentially an upgraded "Gucci Glock" off-the-shelf. With most of their pistols being compatible with many Glock parts and accessories and having very similar design aspects and ergonomics, experienced and new shooters alike will find familiarity with one of the most reliable and proven pistol brands to ever exist. The Shadow Systems MR920 is the Texas company's equivalent to a Glock 19. The pistol is compatible with Glock Gen 3 and 4 parts and even utilizes Glock magazines. As far as upgrades go, it is quickly apparent that Shadow Systems has taken the Glock platform to the next level with their stylish slide serrations and windows, optics cuts, upgraded sights, altered grip textures, a pseudo-flat-face trigger, and included magwell. The slide of the MR920 Elite feaures deep forward serrations on the top and sides for better grip for manipulations, slide lightening windows, and an impressive optics footprint that is compatible with a variety of brands and models: Trijicon/Holosun C, Vortex/Docter, and Leupold/Sig Sauer Romeo1 footprints are compatible with the gun out of the box, and Shield RMSc/Holosun K and EPS optics can be mounted with a plate sold separately. The pistol is also equipped with a set of upgraded metal sights, with a blacked-out serrated rear sight and Ameriglo green tritium night sight with yellow outline. The MR920 Elite also has an upgraded 4 ½" threaded barrel, allowing compensators or suppressors to be attached to the pistol. This pistol is in lightly-used condition and includes all the original accessories including the factory box, soft case, two 15-round Magpul GL9 Pmag magazines, optics screws, additional backstraps, magwell, cable lock, chamber flag, and user manual. The only notable quality of this pistol is that a previous owner did swap the slide catch lever for a stock Glock lever. Of course, this should not affect reliability or performance of the pistol itself. 9mm Parabellum
