This Chinese Type 54 Tokarev pistol, manufactured at Shenyang Factory 66 in 1967, is a near-new, single-action semiautomatic firearm chambered in 7.62x25mm, complete with a military-style holster, representing China's adoption of the Soviet TT-33 design as a standard post-WWII sidearm.

Description:

Chinese Type 54 Tokarev pistol produced from 1954 onwards, manufactured at Shenyang's Factory 66, the Type 54 is a Chinese copy of the Soviet Tokarev TT-33 pistol adopted as China's standard pistol after WWII. This example in cal. 7.62x25mm caliber, SN: 14083974, blued finish, traditional single-action semi-automatic operation. Fixed blade front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Top of frame bears serial number "14083974" with additional stamped characters, the left side of frame above grip area marked with matching "14083974 66 1967". Right side of trigger guard area features "A" assembly mark. Ribbed black grips with encircled 5-pointed star. Single stack magazine with eight-round capacity, 6 indicator holes, and detachable floorplate stamped with "3930". Complete with Chinese military-style brown leather holster compartmentalized for spare magazine, black corduroy lined, with dual belt loops having rings for shoulder straps.

Condition:

EXC+ with just a few minor handling marks and spotting of the in-the-white barrel over the exposed barrel hood. No thinning of front or backstraps. The left grip with a few tiny handling marks; none noted on the right. VG/EXC magazine with insertional wear as imaged. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. VG+ holster with superficial scuffs and discolorations with comparable condition liner. A wonderful Chinese Tokarev pistol from 1967 with correct magazine and holster in its original military configuration, a pistol that is no longer importable!
