Tokyo Arsenal ~ Type 26 ~ 9X22
Description: Tokyo Arsenal Type 26, chambered in 9X22. Features include: double action only, top break action, 4 3/4 in. barrel, 6 shot cylinder, automatic ejectors, bobbed hammer, notch rear sight, blade front sight, checkered wood grips, lanyard ring, blued finish. This was the only revolver to be adopted by the Japanese Imperial Army and was the precursor to the Nambu pistol. You can see the arsenal mark that looks like cannonballs stacked on themselves. Underneath that is the Japanese words for Type 26 and below that is the serial number. Some wear of the bluing is present on the barrel, but the bore has strong clean grooves. Grips are in one piece with no damage and little wear to them.
