Makarov K100 with Holster

Description:
Cold War Era, CDI import marked, East German made Makarov K100, 9 x 18mm Caliber semi automatic pistol with leather holster 3 1/2 inch barrel has a fixed blade front sight and rear dovetail sight.  The Slide action is very smooth with a left side thumb safety located above the pistol grip with a red dot indicator.  The slide has side serrations for secure grip with minor silvering on edges near the muzzle but retains a very nice original blueing for its age.  The Makarov is a straight blowback pistol that was intended to be a simplified version of the Walther PP pistol.  A fixed barrel traditional double action trigger mechanism, exposed hammer and slide mounted decocker.  Originally adapted by the Soviet Union in 1951, they licensed production to several countries including East Germany.  Many of these were used by the police, border guards and military.  This particular pistol was manufactured in 1962, as indicated on the side of the frame.  On the left side of the frame is also the letter Y with dots around it which is believed to have been a training firearm.  Muzzle velocity is a 315 meters per second.  One piece black wrap around polymer pistol grip is textured and has a thumb groove on the left side.  The magazine release is located at the base of the pistol grip and includes two 8 round magazines.  See pictures for details of the finish.  Also includes a brown leather holster with top closure and extra pocket for the additional magazine.  The holster is in good condition with heavy discoloration and marks from us.
