DWM 1920 Commercial Luger 7.65 Pistol and Case ~ Exceptional
Description: P.08 Luger DWM (Deutches Waffen & Munitionsfabrik) - high condition Matching numbers, retains about 98% of the original rust blue finish. Chambered in .30 Luger, showing a clean bore with crisp rifling. Straw parts remain bright. The trigger-bar spring and toggle axles are a brilliant fire nitre blue, and the grip screws a deep blue mirror. The hold-open functions properly, the stock-lug is unmarred. Safety is marked “GESICHERT”, the extractor marked “GELADEN”. Bears the "Crown/N" proof marks, DWM toggle with blank chamber and no import marks. The original walnut grips rate excellent, showing wonderful marbling, well-defined checkering with no flattened points and uniform color to the pair. The original nickel steel magazine is in excellent condition with unmarked wood base. The leather case is in as new, an unmarked, lined and tooled commercial case believed to be of German origin. This piece has been lightly cleaned, oiled and inspected and is in perfect mechanical and physical condition throughout.
