4 3/4" smooth bore barrel
Captured loading rod designed for Cavalry / Horseman
Walnut stock
Brass engraved trigger guard & Pommel
Bore is excellent with no pitting
Made between 1800-1815
9" overall length
Matthew Goggin was the gun maker and armorer to the General Post Office in Dublin Ireland and was commissioned to make Blunderbus' and flintlock pistols from 1811-1822
D-C 3542 on top of barrel
crack near wedge area on right side of stock which is usual for a pistol from this period. Wood is in otherwise excellent overall condition
