These original Colt factory Coltwood long round-butt D-frame service grips are correct for the Detective Special and Cobra Models from c. 1946-1954. After c. 1952 Colt transitioned from the early red marbled Coltwood compound to a duller brown compound. While the early red swirled compound grips do not shrink, the later brown compound grips did. This pair comes with their correct original grip screw and blind threaded, slotted escutcheon nut. They will also fit all long round-butt Detective Specials and Cobras. Excellent like new condition. The revolver in the photos is not for sale. I ship USPS first class in a hard box with tracking. I can combine shipping with other items that I currently have listed.
