Original WW2 era famous US Navy Mark 2 “Ka-Bar” fighting knife
Manufactured by Camillus Cutlery out of Camillus, NY
Great overall condition
Scabbard is in excellent shape as well and marked NORD 4723 B.M. Co V.P. and was made by Victory Plastics division of Beckwith Manufacturing (B.M. Co.)
Stamped CAMILLUS, N.Y. on one side, U.S.N. / MARK 2 on the other
The knife is about 12″ overall; blued blade is about 7″
The edge (including the upper “false” edge) in good condition
No nicks on the edge or contact marks on the spine, the tip is intact
Leather washers handle with a heavy round pommel and slightly curved guard; all parts are perfectly tight with no play
