Awesome1863 U.S. Watervliet Arsenal Box of 6 Paper Cartridges and Primers.

Description:
Unbelivable, A full box of unsued paper cartridges complete with the primers and the original cotton padding for protection.
The label indicates in small print that they were made at the Watervliet Arsenal and dated 1863.
That was right at the height of the Civil war. The box and the label are an extraodinary find. It is cleverly partioned with seperate space for the cartridges and the six primers that are still present.
The box does show some slighht handling, however the contents are complete. There no splits or tears just general aging fron sitting in the box in a trunk for a 162 years.
What a find for the Civil War gun collector.
